Make a call

  1. KW-Z1001W/KW-Z1000AW
    Press the button.
    KW-Z800AW
    Touch at the top of the screen.
    Touch HOME on the popup menu.
  2. HOME screen appears.
  3. Touch .
  4. Touch [Phone].
  6. Hands-Free screen appears.

  7. NOTE

    1. If your smartphone/cell-phone supports PBAP, you can display the phonebook and call lists onto the touch panel screen when the smartphone/cell-phone is connected.
    2. Phonebook: up to 1000 entries
    3. Up to 50 entries including dialed calls, received calls, and missed calls
  8. Select a dialing method.

  1. : Call using call records
  2. : Call using the phonebook
  3. : Call using the preset number
  4. : Call by entering a phone number

Select the smartphone/cell-phone to use

When you connect two smartphones/cell-phones

  1. Touch to select the phone you want to use.

Bluetooth Setup

  1. Touch .
  2. Connection & AV setting menu appears. Bluetooth Setup

Voice Recognition

  1. Touch . Voice Recognition

NOTE

  1. Status icons such as battery and antenna icons may differ from those displayed on the smartphone/cell-phone.
  2. Setting the smartphone/cell-phone in the private mode can disable the Hands-Free function.

Call using call records

  1. Touch .
  2. Select the phone number from the list.

Call using the phonebook

  1. Touch .
  2. Touch .
  3. Select the initial.

    1. Characters with no corresponding name will not appear.
    2. A first character with an accent character such as “ü” can be searched for with a non-accent character “u” . A character with an accent character in a sentence cannot be searched for.
  6. Select the person you want to call from the list.
  8. Select the phone number from the list.

NOTE

  1. You can sort the phone numbers in the list by last name or first name. For details, see Hands-Free Setup.
  2. When Russian is selected in “Language Select” System Setup, you can switch between English keyboard and Russian keyboard.
  3. When Hebrew is selected in “Language Select” System Setup, you can switch between English keyboard and Hebrew keyboard.
  4. You can search with 3 initial letters on the English keyboard and 1 initial letter on the Russian / Hebrew keyboard.

Call using the preset number

  1. Touch .
  2. Touch the name or phone number.

Call by entering a phone number

  1. Touch .
  2. Enter a phone number with number keys.
  4. Touch .
