Hands-Free Setup

You can make various settings for the Hands-Free function.

  1. KW-Z1001W/KW-Z1000AW
    Press the button.
    KW-Z800AW
    Touch at the top of the screen.
    Touch HOME on the popup menu.
  2. HOME screen appears.
  3. Touch .
  4. Touch [SETUP].
  5. SETUP Menu screen appears.
  6. Touch [Connection & AV].
  8. Connection & AV setting menu appears.
  9. Touch [TEL SETUP].
  10. TEL SETUP screen appears.
  11. Set each function as follows.

  13. [Bluetooth HF/Audio]

    Select the speakers to output the sound from the smartphone/cell-phone (such as phone call voice and ringing tone) and Bluetooth audio player.

    1. [Front]: Outputs sound from the front speakers.
    2. [All] (Default): Outputs sound from all speakers.

  14. [Auto Response]*

    Set the automatic response time to pick-up an incoming call.

    1. [OFF] (Default): Turns off the Automatic response function.
    2. [1]/[5]/[10]/[15]/[20]/[25]/[30]: Sets the ringing time (second).
    1. Either the auto response time set on this unit or the time set on the smartphone/cell-phone, whichever is shorter takes effect.

  15. [Auto Pairing]

    When set to “ON”, the Apple Auto Pairing function is turned on to automatically register the iPhone connected to this unit.

    1. [ON] (Default): Turns on the Apple Auto Pairing function.
    2. [OFF]: Turns off the Apple Auto Pairing function.

  16. [Sort Order]

    Set how to sort the data in the smartphone/cell-phone phonebook.

    1. [First] (Default): Sorts data by the first name.
    2. [Last]: Sorts data by the last name.
  17. Touch [OK].
