Initial SETUP

Perform this setup when you use this unit first time.

  1. Set each item as follows.

  3. [Language]

    Select the language used for the control screen and setting items. Default is "American English(en)”.

    1 Touch [Language].

    2 Touch [Language Select].

    3 Select the desired language.

    4 Touch .

  4. [Clock]

    Sets the synchronization of the clock. For details, see Select the time zone and time format.

  5. [Display & Button]

    Set button illumination color and viewing angle.

    If it is hard to see the image on the screen even, adjust the viewing angle.

    1 Touch [Display & Button].

    2 Set each item and touch .

  6. [Camera]

    Set the parameters for the camera.

    1 Touch [Camera].

    2 Set each item and touch .

    For details, see Camera Setup.

  7. [Maestro SETUP]

    Access settings for the iDatalink Maestro (commercially available), including settings menus for advanced camera controls, vehicle diagnostics, OEM Settings menus, and more. (Requires installation of an iDatalink Maestro in a compatible vehicle).

  8. [Vehicle Features]

    This function requires a commercial adaptor. Consult your JVC dealer for details.

  9. [DEMO]

    Set the demonstration mode. Default is “ON”.

  10. [System Configuration]

    Configure the digital sound output settings. For details, see System Configuration settings.

  11. Touch [Finish].

NOTE

  1. These settings can be made from the SETUP menu. See Setup.
  2. When reconfiguring the System Configuration settings, run Initialize from the System Setup. Parameters not included in System Configuration can be configured in SETUP.
  3. System Configuration settings (except for Built-In Amplifier) can only be configured during Initial Setup.
  4. When configuring the [Installation Orientation], the system will restart after the [Finish] button is pressed.
